Cocktails on Me: Peppermint Hot Chocolate

Hey Atlanta! That’s right, drinks on me. I thought I would share a drink with my favorite people & spend a little time talking about what the hell is going on any given week. And I literally mean sharing a drink, why go out and pay $10 – $15 on a drink, Atlanta we can go to the store, get everything we need and have 3 drinks if we want to. Also it doesn’t hurt to know how to whip up a drink, for entertaining purposes (you know what I’m saying) 🙂  So here’s to sharing, laughing & venting!

Ok so…

  1. Black women! Black women! You showed UP and showed OUT. I am proud to see #BlackWomen trending on Twitter, we are powerful human beings, who can make a difference, lead & transform. We deserve to be noticed, heard and PAID, just like everyone else. Congratulations Doug Jones and your welcome Alabama!
  2. Ok, Omarosa supposedly quit or “retired”, whatever happened it was some news that made my day! I heard she was yanked out the White House and put out on the curb. Lordt… that’s some embarrassing shit! I mean just leave with dignity, don’t have security dragging you out, not cute. April Ryan’s tweets about Omarosa gave me life today! Hilarious and I’ll drink to that!
  3. Also, this Keaton Jones story…there’s very strong emotions centered around this kid and family. Unless you have been under a rock, this video about Keaton being bullied went viral, a GoFundMe account was set up and received over $55,000. I don’t know why the account was set up, bullying has nothing to do with money. Issues concerning the mother’s motive became problematic and then the twitter frenzy started. I agree we should let this go, this has now become another form of bullying. The bottom line, kids should not have to endure bullying and they sure as hell shouldn’t have to endure public shaming and humiliation….screwed up parents or not. People if you want to make a difference, give or volunteer at local organizations that impact the lives of children. There are many things we can do to minimize bullying in our communities.
